Now posting Return of the Condor Heroes aka "The Divine Condor and his Companion" aka "The Condor and The Lovers". Replacing the 1998 series, that I never got around to finishing (and probably wont) with the more requested version "2006". Synopsis: Adapted from the novel by Jinyong (aka Louis Cha). This is a sequel to Legend of Condor Heroes and a prequel of sorts to Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre. The story concerns the adventures of Yang Guo, an orphaned boy in a mid-13th Century China.

From his humble beginnings, the street wise Yang Guo gets passed around from one prestigious master to another but none of them will teach him any kung fu. While escaping from a tortured experience under Quan Zhen Sect's Zhao Zhi Jing, he meets Xiao Long Nu, the girl who will become his kung fu master and eventually the love of his life.

Unfortunately, even living inside Xiao Long Nu's cave can't prevent the outside world from interfering with their training and blossoming love. Li Mou Chou, Xiao Long Nu's martial sister, returns seeking their sect's greatest skill, The Jade Heart Manual. Li Mou Chou forces the couple out of the cave and into the outside world where Yang Guo learns that the person responsible for his father's death is the leader of the Beggar Clan, his aunt Huang Rong. Huang Rong, besides being a capable martial artist herself, is also pregnant with the child of the preeminent Martial Artist of this time, his uncle Guo Jing. Avenging one's father's murder is the moral imperative of the time but Guo Jing and Huang Rong were also the ones who took in Yang Guo when he was orphaned.

In addition to this complication, Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu must endure countless trials, near death experiences, the social taboo that prevents a master and her disciple from marrying, and the impending Mongol invasion of China if they are to live happily ever after.

Michiwara   05-14-2009 03:21:23 Finally I decided to download this Drama. Although it will take me 3days at least to finish downloading,I'm sure it's worth it. I think among a lot of series that made from Jin Yong's novel, this is the best one. I love it because it can express the deepest meaning of the novel: The love. Lots of people tell me that Crystal Liu is not cold enough to be a perfect Xiao Long Nu. But I think Cold is not Xiao Long Nu's character herself. She's cold just because her master taught her to be & because she didn't meet any people other than her Ton aunt and her master. When she met and then love Yang Gou, that cold face should melt. XD Ups, that's all what I though. thanks for upload it XD.

maiher7   11-18-2008 00:31:58 this was actually the first c-drama i've finished...it was sooooo long...it was draggy on some parts and i've hated when they split up and then later find each other...they keep doing that through the drama...it got annoying...but the fight scenes are the best! that's what i actually look forward to whenever i watch dramas like these...but overall...it was worth my time

Nay   09-01-2008 19:47:31 I had the files available on sendspace up until this morning, but the account was "using too much space" (blame ss for complaining) This particular series hasnt been downloaded all that often from the sendspace account, so unfortunately i had to let it go. Maybe when I activate another sendspace account I'll reupload them again. Its just a hassle with so many files though Sorry!!!

Toffer   02-19-2007 02:30:01 i just finished watching chinese paladin, and i have to say, i enjoyed ROCH better. the martial art stunts are much better performed and looked more realistic than chinese paladin. the stunts in chinese paladin seemed fake and was overcompensated by flashy light effects and camera tricks. also, the ending in ROCH is much better, only because i don't really like tragic endings which was what ruined chinese paladin for me.

Ronny   02-02-2007 08:15:00 Wow this adaptation of Jin Yong's novel is like never ending in remakes versions. Gets kinda annoying since i've seen every single one and each time they get even worst lol. Don't get me wrong i think the acting wasn't bad and i was surprised on how well Liu Yi Fei acted as Xiao Long Ni, she did well maybe it was the fact that her acting skills were never that great so when it came to playing that character it fit in since Xiao long ni plays that kind of cold not so many much words no expression facial type person. theres a shit load of cuts in this film and even in some parts you can see the strings they use for the martial arts and in the end you can directly see one of the cameraman or effect coordinator shining light at an actor during her scene which is kinda ridiculous and makes this series seems like they just want to get it over with and dont care about JinYong's novel and how well it should be made into a good series. All in all if you're a person that likes beautiful looking people in a good storyline and dont mind seeing all the errors they made in the series just because yea the actors are all good looking then please do watch this series if not try finding the old versions like louis koo's version which is in my opinion a lot better
