Synopsis (DramaWiki): The drama is based on the popular manga of the same name by Nakajo Hisaya, which has already been dramatized in Taiwan. Horikita plays the protagonist Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Oguri) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol.

I honestly was highly anticipating this drama as i read the manga of this since 2001-2002. I still remember i would wait every week for the scanlation group for their releases XD. That's also the main reason why i made the ending karaoke of this fansubs XD (my work was used starting from ep3 i think =P) ...but i have to say - there are MANY things they altered from the manga =P it'll be boring either way if it's just exactly the same as the manga, ne?

Another thing that wow'd me was - there are many familiar faces here. Maki Horikita really pulled it off being Ashiya (i even said - "she's so handsome!" XD). Shun Oguri - 'nuff said. When i found out Toma was playing Nakatsu - i was like - "wow! they hit the jackpot", cause honestly it really really suits him (since he got almost same character as Box in Akihabara@Deep). There's the familiar face of Ishigaki Yuma (which played lots of different characters in other dramas); Tezuka-sempai (Shirota Yuu) of TeniMyu and CinePuri; adding lots of Toku actors - Mizushima Hiro (Kamen Rider Kabuto), Yamamoto Yusuke (Kamen Rider Sasword), Igarashi Shunji (Ultraman Mebius), Takahashi Mitsumi (Gogo Sentai Boukenger's BoukenRed), Kyo Nobuo (Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger's Kuwagata Raiger) XD

It's one fun show - and that's coming from a guy =P btw, it's subtitled as "Ikemen Paradise" - Ikemen meaning - "hunk" or "stud" or "hottie" XD

Actually I decided to see this drama because of her =) I've known her from Nobuta wo produce and she was really cute in that drama! Still in this drama she's remaining her cuteness! N' I just love it! I actually think a short hair like this fits with her face!
