Synopsis (DramaWiki): Hina, a student at Nikko High School, goes out one evening with her classmate Beniko. They get split up and Hina ends up in a strange meeting with a man named Ikumi in a game arcade. The next day, Ikumi turns up as the new teacher at her school. Ikumi doesn't seem to recognise Hina but the wheels of fate are slowly moving to reunite them in what is a passionate story of forbidden love.

I got this drama, well, because being a fanboy that i am, Aya Ueto is in it. Having watched only about 10 minutes of the first episode, i am very happy that Aya Ueto portrays another different role - that's why i truly admire and love her :P - she's talented - THAT is how an actor/actress should be. Another bonus is that another fave Korean is in it, Sonim (wow, EE Jump had not disbanded at that time i guess *zeldAIS goes to his DVD collections and searches EE Jump stuffs*). I didn't know at first that Sonim is one of the main actresses here - so that was a good surprise for me :P. If i'm correct Koga Ikumi is Saejima of GTO live action, ne? Narimiya Hiroki, well, one of my respected actors of jdrama (Gokusen 1, Stand Up, Orange Days, Azumi 1, etc.) is also in here - though i browsed some eps, he's kinda a badass character here - cool :P. Masaki Kyoumoto also stars in here (He sang ending songs of Garo and also acted as the mysterious doctor in that toku series - dl that series here). Wow, lots of familiar actors here. Nay-sama also mentioned that someone was requesting for this, way way back, if i'm correct - so here it is ^_^ BTW, this is a remake of the 1993 version of the same title. I can't rate it yet since i haven't fully watched all the eps (school is killing me T_T) Expect "dark" drama here but great story, nevertheless.

lengjoo 08-22-2009 02:45:09 I am still confused at the end of the drama that the operation was successful or failure when it's completed. I'm quite touched from the drama expressing dark and good sights of human being that no one is totally bad or good disregarding of age, education, and occupation. To me, every one has individual selfishness, but the doctor is the most cruel, selfish, and lack of physician ethics that is unforgivable. She deserved to lose both her husband and sensei.

madgirl_15 11-06-2008 08:56:36 Liked the drama. Was not bad but I'm not too thrilled about the performances. They were good but not great. I liked the story of the 1993 drama better. As you know, this is sort of a continuation of the 1993 drama with the same name. The 1993 drama was much more complex, intense and controversial than this one. So if you're going to see this one, try the 1993 version afterwards or go ahead and watch the 1993 version first.

It is melancholy - just what you expect from a J-drama - in a good and sad way. I wanted the story to coninue, so I also would like to see the special if anyone has it.
