Now posting the Japanese Drama "One Litre of Tears" aka "A Diary with Tears" aka "Ichi Rittoru no Namida". I've gotten a lot of requests for this drama, so I finally decided to post it. This drama is based on a true story of a girl diagnosed with an incurable disease. If you've already seen it, or are currently watching it, let us know what you think of it. Synopsis: 15-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

emerald.tk 08-22-2010 12:23:50 Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. To those who haven't seen this, I'll go as far as pleading that they do. This drama is so utterly inspiring and moving, it really gives you an appreciation for life. It's sad, yes. Which is why I didn't wan't to watch this, but I'm really glad I did. Full stars to the story, actors and music. Aya was definitely sugoi.
