Now posting the Korean Drama "My Name Is Kim Sam-Soon" aka "My Lovely Sam Soon". I LOVE this drama!!! Every episode is filled with fun and humor. If you havent seen this drama yet, this is one you most definitely should see. If you've already seen it before, I'm sure you wont mind watching it over and over again :)

Synopsis: Kim Sam Soon is a 30-year-old Paris-trained pastry chef, fresh out of a job and fresh out of love. She was publicly dumped by her boyfriend. She sees herself as not pretty, nearly an old maid and slightly on the chubby side. Sam Soon is the third daughter of a rice miller and lives with her mother and older sister who just got divorced. She hates her name and regards it as a bane on her life, the cause of all her bad luck. One day she meets Hyun Jin Heon who is a 27-year old restaurateur and the son of a hotel owner, tall, good-looking, and an obvious catch. He runs the restaurant against his mother's wishes. Jin Heon is initially portrayed as haughty, cold with a streak of mischievous meanness.In a serendipitous but less than glamorous encounter, Kim Sam Soon met Hyun Jin Heon, resulting in Sam Soon being offered a job as the pastry chef at Jin Heon's restaurant, Bon Appetit. That unglamorous encounter also resulted in the two of them signing a dating contract agreement whereby Sam Soon agrees to pretend to be Jin Heon's girlfriend (to stop his mothers match-making endeavours) in return for KRW 5 million which Sam Soon badly needs to rescue her home from being repossessed by the bank.

(we have to see some normal people in those kdrama not all the time the girl has to be cute and "angelic" ) and hyun bin is the best

VincentLaw 12-28-2009 19:14:12 ending is pretty much obvious, female lead isn't the "ideal" type that's usually cast in k-drama romance, meaning "pretty" and "fit" but overall it's an "fine" drama. wouldn't say it's most funny drama ever, but does have funny scenes.

BELINDAlubsAZNDRAMAH 12-16-2009 02:46:33 Well I did it! I finally finished this amazing drama and for once i can say that I'm totally satisfied with this drama ending. Before I can give away my 5 stars (which i think should be 100 stars or maybe infinity stars..ok getting off topic here ) I must state my reasons why. The characters are played really REALLY well. I did questioned a few of Sam Shik's expression, but it kept getting better and better each episode. Sam Soon, should I say more? This woman is amazing and officially MY IDOL. She knows what she wants and is always honest with herself and those around her. Chemistry between Sam Shik and Sam Soon..I can't deny it, watch it and find out! And of course, we have handsome (hyun-bin is too) Daniel Henessy as well, plays his character well too. ^^ The plot is really good to the point where I just didn't know what was going to happen, I did guess on most of the episodes ..but I was always wrong each time because Kim Sam Soon..she seriously has her ways of making us think and she's a great cook. I needed something to get me off of my "You're Beautiful" addiction and Kim Sam Soon saved me. Now I don't find myself saying "Hyungnim!" anymore but instead i find myself calling out "SAMSHIK!". Well enough of my ramblimg, and more rewatching and downloading of this awesome drama. Seriously, if you haven't watched this drama at all, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY MISSING OUT!
