Now posting the Taiwanese Drama "Marmalade Boy". This was one of the first twdramas I've seen (watched it along with MARS). It's not the greatest, but some people might say otherwise. I watched Marmalade Boy the Anime before I watched the drama. I enjoyed the Anime, so I decided to check out the drama. I didn't care too much for the acting, but the storyline made it interesting. This one is a lot like Devil Beside You, and It Started With A Kiss.

Synopsis: Xiao Shi Chuan Guang Xi finds her life turned upside down, when her parents return from a trip to Hawaii only to tell her that they are getting a divorce. They explain that while they were there that they had met another couple, the Song Pu family, fallen in love, and now decided that each couple would breakup and switch partners. Guang Xi is understandably upset. The whole situation makes no sense to her, and she doesn’t want to see her family broken apart. But if that wasn’t crazy enough, her parents tell her, so that she will not miss having both parents around her, that they, along with the other couple and their son You, would be moving together into a big house making them one big happy family. Needless to say, Guang Xi is not happy about the situation at all, though she does find You to be attractive, a fact that doesn’t escape the notice of her jealous friend, Yin Tai, who has liked her for years, or of Yalishi, You’s ex-girlfriend…… (credits to d-addicts)

I'll give this drama a Rating 3.5 - Even though I liked the characters, I thought the acting could have been much better.

hey, I'm having problems trying to download eps 10 and 11. It says the files are not available. Is anyone else having this problem? Do they eventually become available again?

I've watched the anime and read the manga, so I decided to give this a shot. Haha. I liked it. It was funny. ^-^ The acting could have been much better though.

Sticks with the original story from the manga. I like the fact that Ken Zhu played Yuu. Stella Huang also did a great job acting as Miki. And Miki's not the easiest character to act out. All in all, a good drama version of the manga.
I actually like it, its so diffrent seeing miki like this (i loved the anime & the manga) its nice to see someone as animated as she was in the role

Well...at first, the girls acting really annoyed me...I mean, it's was heartbreakin terrible her acting..but as the story develops she gets better... Although it's very cute and simple, I am dissapointed in the cheap production...

i don't know why but i actually loved this drama. i know it's a little annoying at first and stella's acting was really way below benchmark but ken did a wonderful job. i love the dysfunctional family and especially how the relationship between stella and ken progressed. i think what i liked best is the house they live in. and i may be a bit bias since stella and the female antagonist are both singaporeans and ken studied in singapore. and maybe i felt a need to support the show. as for the storyline, it is a little stupid but this is the only stupid drama that i really like. watch it one and don't watch it again - that's the kind of drama i think this is.
