Synopsis (Adachifan): Based on a the popular Mitsuru Adachi manga and anime of the same name, Touch is about Uesugi twin brothers, Tatsuya and Kazuya, who grew up with their childhood friend and neighbour, Minami Asakura. While the older twin Tatsuya may be naturally more gifted, he is a slacker and a pervert who just lazes around. The younger twin Kazuya is hard-working and talented, an ace pitcher for the baseball team. Minami has a dream to go to Koshien, which is where the national high school baseball championships are played, and Kazuya is planning on taking her there. Both brothers are in love with Minami, but Tatsuya seems to want to give in to his younger brother, even at the cost of his own feelings, and despite what Minami may think. But then a life-changing event happens, and Tatsuya starts to work hard to fulfil Minami's dreams and earn her love. I've been waiting for the movie to be watched for quite some time now. I LOVE this series. I've been reading the manga since 5 years ago and still patiently waiting for the scanslation groups to release the series. When my world is in chaos, it's the series (including other Mitsuru Adachi manga) that can slowly calm me down. I'm surely gonna get my hands of the anime of this series soon (heck, the anime is the highest rated anime TV show ever in Japan - see here). My comments about the movie - for a big Touch fan - i liked it a lot. Masami Nagasawa did a great job in acting as Minami (heard she's also casted in another Mitsuru Adachi adaptation - Rough). Even though the twins are not that good looking (hmm...if i were the one in charge of casting, i'll prolly would pick the twins at FLAMES (they acted on Devilman)), I guess, their sugoiness did it. The actors for Kotaro (even though he must be bigger) and Harada (the hair is perfect!) did a two-thumbs up job. Being so spoiled in the series, I would rate it [rate 4], since in most manga to live action version has some inconsistencies and such (where is the uber cute Nitta's imoto?). And the first opening song of the anime series became one of the themes of this movie - 90's style of course. This movie version of the song is sang by one of my favorite Koreans - Younha (i heard she's slowly getting popularity in Korea, finally). MegaUpload Folder Note: This movie is typesetted, hardsubbed, splitted and reencoded by yours truly, zeldAIS. You don't have to join them. I'm gonna re-release Younha's PV as karaoke in the future (when i found the time with my hectic life). I've got about 5 JMovies to upload - i'm gonna upload them when i finished typesetting them (which will be first - Aki Maeda's movie as an ultimate weapon or my idol guitarist, Yui's first movie....hmm....) Eiga o Tanoshimini! :)
