Synopsis (Wikipedia): The title, Il Mare, means 'The Sea' in Italian, and is the name of the seaside house which is the setting of the story. The two protagonists both live there two years apart in time, but are able to communicate through a mysterious post box.

I decided to upload and post this film since The Lake House (starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock) is out in theaters, so you can compare this with the hollywood remake. I got this and watched it around 3-4 years ago, back when a good friend, Silverhunter, downloaded this for me at suprnova way back (because at that time, i was only on dialup) and gave me this copy. One reason i requested him to download this is because of - Jeon Ji Hyun - "nuff said :P I even bought a DVD of this movie, hehehe - of course, it's because of Jeon Ji Hyun.
I would rate the movie:

and not perfect 5 because it's a certified chick flick BUT it's a good story anyway, and have i said Jeon Ji Hyun is in it? :P
After rewatching it again - it somehow reminded me of other movies that are like this - a hollywood movie that's about someone talking to the radio with his old man (?), a local movie here in the Philippines about two people who fall in love through the telephone (?) and a taiwanese movie starring Ken Zhu (of Meteor Garden's F4) - all in which two people talking in different time. I haven't watched any of them so i don't remember any of the titles (and probably because there's no Jeon Ji Hyun :P lolz).

Note: I was lazy to rip the whole DVD i bought after watching the movie. So I guess the copy is credited to Echizen for the original DVDRips (can't find his new dvdrips nowadays). I just ripped the short trailer that was in my DVD and upped it. The movie is hardsubbed, reencoded and uploaded by yours truly, zeldAIS. Part 2 of the movie was reuploaded by Dee. The movie is splitted into two video files, so you don't need to join them.
